When I was in highschool there was a house in this neighborhood my friends and I would drive through painted painter's tape blue. We would take a detour to see the painter's tape blue house, we loved it so much. We would point at it and smile and say "I want to paint my house like that some day."

We just bought a house and like, 90% of why I immediately loved it was that it was already painted the crazy colors I wanted inside. Outside is brick, but the porch is a lovely blue. It might get crazier from here.

ABSOLUTELY. Here there are entire communities of all grey, greyish blue and like a grey tan homes. Its absolutely grim. I gardened for three clients in one of these places and another somewhere else and its really sad to look up from your work to see all this grimness surrounding you.
