Unfortunately it does matter because when it became 6-3 the Alito faction had enough votes to ignore Roberts and that’s when they went from bad to truly off the rails

Everyone. She had problems with race, to be extremely generous, but was otherwise a reliably liberal vote. She gave the seat up for Barrett.
