The whole scene where Hopes mother diedāwe really should have seen that from Hopes POV at first. It t would have made that whole sequence so much more impactful

The case was purposefully designed to be flawed and somewhat unlikable people who become better over the course of the journey.

Yeah that was definitely done on purpose but I liked lightning right away. And snow too, even though some of his early scenes are cringe.
Vanille was very purposefully not who she first seemed.

I think the direction of FF13 can be second guessed at times but people rip the voice acting and itās like cmon. That was Troy baker and Laura Bailey in there

The DLC for the true ending of 13-2 was unforgivable and overshadowed what was good about the game for me, for a while.
Still never played the third part.
But it was good. I donāt think final fantasy fans conditioned to expect subtle characters who arenāt what they initially seem e.g Vanille

The OST for that game was so good. One of the many things that largely got overlooked amid the initial negative freakout over that game.

Once the media has their narrative itās over.
Iāll never forget that time Obamas pastor did an interview with 60 minutes.
At one point, he said something like āeveryone is expecting me to say something crazyā and he did a face to with it and of course that became the takeaway š¤¦š»

Itās weird how I point out a pretty solid factāthe court got notably worse after 3 Trump judges made it so Alito and Thomas no longer needed Robertsā voteā and people are spinning this as me being a fan of Roberts or thinking heās some west wing character.
Heās not as RW as Thomas or Alito šæ

I donāt think I ever said he was a centrist. I said the court got noticibly worse once they no longer needed his vote.

Just bumped into a guy who has been a swing voter for the winning side the last 7 presidents.
He watches pro wrestling, drinks beer and has lunch in an Ohio diner 5 times a week.
He didnāt watch the debate but told me he doesnāt care and the media making too big a deal of it

Republicans pretending theyāre not is a whole tiresome genre of election year stories.
And Bari Weiss pretty much does it full time.

I think heās as pro corporate as the rest of the GOP justices.
I donāt think heās as culture war as the ruling faction.
And I think he did try to respect the idea of scotus and that is definitely out the window when they no longer needed his vote.

Itās fine if you feel that way but it never felt like they were just making it up as long as the GOP faction needed his vote.
Not striking down the ACA is one example off the top of my head.
Iām not a Roberts fan but I try to keep it real.

The party wanted John Kerry all the way that year.
