A few years ago my kids were giving me shit for buying video games on physical media. Today they're immensely grateful. I have all my old DVDs and CDs because companies like Disney can pull any movie they wanted any time or alter it forever and you will never see the original again. Never.

They did that with The Abyss. James Cameron recently “remastered it” and took out whole scenes. Thankfully, I still have the original DVDs with the original and special edition in the ‘90s.

A couple years ago HBO had this great show called Made For Love where a tech bro put a chip into his wife’s head so he could program her to love him again, and I want to recommend it every day, and they erased it, no DVDs, nothing.
