I spoke to a friend I knew in high school who told me he "doesn't follow politics." I asked him what he thought about the election. He said, "I hear Biden's a senile wreck." He also said he hadn't heard of SCOTUS granting Trump immunity and has never heard of Project 2025. Media's doing a great job.

Biden doesn’t answer questions/give press conf’s for a reason. He’s been a great prez, & the majority, IF they vote, would select a potted plant over DT. But Biden can’t campaign & we’re in a world crisis. We need an articulate fighter against the tyranny of the minority, so something to consider.

When Biden started out, he was practically incoherent, unable to articulate what he meant to say or maintain his train of thought. I wish he had read Mehdi Hasan’s article in The Atlantic on how to win a debate w/Trump. There’s an art to debating a “Gish galloper.”

While the two men’s performances are certain to draw the most attention, the debate moderators’ failure to do their jobs is also drawing scrutiny, as CNN hosts Tapper and Bash provided zero real-time fact checking on 90 minutes of lies, mischaracterizations, and at some points, conspiracy theories.

I couldn’t make it that far. The so-called moderators pretended DT was an ordinary candidate. There was no follow-up, no fact-checking, and he just continued to spew lie after lie after conspiracy theory. Meanwhile, Biden was obviously over-prepped and not well, and also not making a lot of sense.
