Hamburger question:
What's your preference for the size of the patty w/re the size of the bun?
A) Patty is smaller, for the "tidy sandwich"
B) Equal size, for the "layer-cake" effect
C) Patty is bigger, for that "luxury carnivore" look
B, with some overlap to A considered acceptable. nothing majorly overhanging anything else, no mountain of bread to stretch my jaw over, just a nice neat mouthful of delicious meat and bread and toppings
I'm fine with both A and C if they're not too far different in size, but prefer B simply for the 'each bite has the same amount of meat/bread ratio' aspect. And the tidiness.
D) We don't need any stinking bun. Perhaps with just some cheese and salsa, but they are optional.
C will be tolerated, if we don't have D available. Buns can be set aside.
Oh definitely B. I don't really like the meat slopping out of the bun, but I prefer the structural integrity that comes from all of the bits being similarly sized.
