Garneau was my MP during the majority of his tenure in politics, and I can assure you he was entirely useless to me as a constituent, especially during the pandemic, but also with regards to my concerns about Bill C-51.

Calgary metro is the same as Ottawa metro, population-wise. Edmonton is the same size as Ottawa, so by your criteria you'd have to include it. You'd probably also want to add Hamilton or Brampton to that list, which are nearly as populous as Vancouver proper (but not Vancouver metro).

It's OK to cross if you're reporting on something, regardless of who you're writing for - I once encountered a border guard who had a completely list of all my clients and where they were located, in a dossier - but you can't be working for those clients within American borders, as an employee.

I also have colleagues who've been turned back by US Customs for having camera equipment with them to shoot video on press trips. It can get pretty dicey the more gear you try to bring with you into the US.

It depends on the job. I was a music promoter for a long time, and you can bring artists in at this point for free. There's no permit required to perform in Canada. Going to the US, it's quite expensive, and just become more expensive this year.

I think you have to put Pacifica in a different class. It offers substantial real-world EV range, and unlike the Sienna it's not a buzz machine under the hood.

This was something Sami and I discussed at length on the podcast last week - the manufacturing constraints that kept the Maverick FWD and the Santa Cruz ICE-only. I love the SC for what it is, but the lack of a battery makes it less compelling in comparison to the Ford. Glad this will change
