Maybe if the Abuse in Care Royal Commission's final report was written in blue comic sans, Luxo might actually have read it.

I saw the same photo, absolutely stunning eh. We were lucky to see two Silver eyes, some Sparrows and Mr Kereru.

Posie Parker stood for election in Bristol, but got so few votes, 196, she even lost her deposit. Couldn't happen to a bigger loser.

As a Green Party member on the other side of the world from the UK, I'm delighted to hear that the Green Party have picked up a seat in Bristol, one of 2 or 3 seats the party could be set to win. πŸ’šπŸ’š

If your area got a new Labour MP then it is your duty to email them and say that you are happy the Tories are out but that transphobia should have no place in the party. Make Starmer gently walk back his support for Rowling's position!

That's true, though with the Rories down and out now would be the time. It's largely down to the Lib Dems to lure Labour into seeing how PR or the like works for both of them. I also think Starmer is so terrified of losing he's not committing to anything at this point.

The only genuine benefit from such a massive majority would be electoral reform to make it a genuine three party system, where it becomes properly proportional.

Don't forget that 131 Tory MPs could easily reduce by 15 to 20 over a term, given how many scandals are likely to result from a rump parry bored and out of Government.

Iona Holsted going from the Ministry of Education is a good day for this country. The truly toxic culture at the Ministry, one of the most toxic cultures I have ever experienced as a professional, is largely down to the truly awful way in which she treated and spoke to people.

Keir Starmer and UK Labour are so massively ahead in the polls, this is not an issue Starmer needs to have this position on. The only reason he does, is because it's what's in his heart. What a fucking loser.

I was at KiwiRail when Senior Managers repeatedly vetoed solutions put forward by Local Councils in Wairoa, to repair the Cyclone-damaged floodwall, prioritizing protecting the railway line from flooding over protecting homes in the town.

It never fails to amuse me just how predictable right wing Governments are in making thousands of Public Servants redundant in the name of "cutting waste", only to end up diverting any savings into the pockets of consultants in pursuit of road-building vanity projects favored by their donors.

The National party, which Willis is from are normally centre right, but this version is a lot more right wing than their predecessors. Of their junior partners, ACT are libertarian, probably on a par with Reform/The Brexit Party in the UK, and NZ First are populist like Front National in France.

It hasn't been so contentious until recently. That's partly because this Govt is far more right wing than any other in recent history, and the junior coalition partners in particular are very anti-MΓ ori.
