yeah staffing is a factor for a couple of reasons. Like obviously it's harder to steal from an employer with a lot of eyes around, but in my experience, people whose employer aren't treating them like shit are also less likely to steal from their employer and more likely to care about theft.

I adore every single one of the additions. Been reading since like 2004, love all the new cast, they're a lot of fun! Happy there's such a good balance of old and new faces and you can branch out and tell more stories, it's tough to get right but it feels like you're nailing it.

I tried a couple of photo description services and this was the best result I got for a pretty simple photo. It's honestly not great! It gets a couple things wrong and misses the interesting stuff about the picture and is fooled by things like "perspective". This is a dismal replacement for alt text

Oh thank you for sharing this, I didn't realize it was a setting! I am pretty sure I've gotten it right so far (the default UI is really nice about showing when images have alt text and making it easy to add both on web and android), but one of these days my luck will run out.

It's barely mentioned in the report; one of the responding officers mentions that she is glad that nobody was injured, but even then it's not clear if she means "no cops" or "nobody at all". I was scrolling through it to try to find the same thing, really glad for the article.
