A skill I need to vastly improve is my ability to take notes while leading/facilitating a working meeting. I find it difficult to bounce between the meeting materials and active note taking, especially action items.

I had a low dose gummy (5mg) for the first time ever last night. I haven't had any kind of cannabis for decades, and before that was a heavy user. It didn't really do much other than make me a little foggy and maybe a little more mushy (I'm usually pretty mushy anyway)

That's why I'm having trouble with some subplots I really want to include. It's hard to make them advance the main plot or impact the main characters. So maybe they really just shouldn't be in there...

I just had to take a workplace violence training for work. Thankfully I could mute the video and do something else while it played. As I work from home, the only threat of violence is me stomping my foot and crying if we run out of coffee. Or the cat biting my toes.

There are two characters I want to have a story sub-plot, but it's hard to think of anything interesting for them to contribute. Frustrating, because I want to know more about
them.

I read about the problems Overdrive and Amazon were having downloading ebooks borrowed from libraries to Kindle devices, and I was very worried, as that's my main way of getting books, but it looks like they fixed it or I'm not impacted, cuz I was able to borrow and dl a few.

So I just finished my first full re-read (while taking some notes) of the initial draft of the first novel I've finished writing. It needs some rearranging and fleshing out. It won't win any awards, but it holds together, and I'm kinda proud of it.
