Biden goes on live TV and solves a Rubik's Cube. They bring him a 4x4 Rubik's Revenge but he makes quick work of it. Next? Rubik's Magic. He's never seen one before and is thrown, but ultimately he prevails.
Now smug, he asks what else they have.
A mistake.
For it is the dreaded Rubik's Clock.

"I'm a new app you're running for the first time. Obviously I should be full screen and throw up a series of modal dialog boxes so you can't turn that off or use anything else for several minutes! Oh, you don't want me to be fullscreen? Okay, what if I'm 200x100 pixels instead?"

It feels so much harder to find the apps to download now from a company's website. It's always like "Get More Info -> Sign in -> Launch web version -> look through setting menus -> on the eighth thing I click find a link to download". Slack, notion, my backup software all did this.

...enough apps just automatically save all my settings and work seamlessly after the reset that when I run into one that doesn't it's extra aggravating. Why did you even make me create an account and log in to use a local application if you can't save how I use you?

Reset windows on my main PC because it had been long enough that things were wonky.
First off, this is so much easier than it used to be, just a few hours vs needing to dedicate a whole weekend to it. But...

I solve a puzzle box and Pinhead drags me down to a dimension of eternal torment. Fishhooks hold my eyelids open and my limbs are replaced with phones merged into my torn flesh. Every few seconds they receive a notification starting with the words "Supreme Court" and I am forced to read it. I scream

My "What you should listen to next" row is always just albums I just finished listening to. No! Suggest something new to me!
Honestly most of the time I just listen locally using an old media player or records, and just use streaming when I'm on the go because the interface is so bad.

I prefer to listen to music an album at a time, and it is so bizarre to me that only about 5% of the time Apple Music shows me a "Play Last" option when I click the menu on something to queue up later. Usually the only option is "Play next", to insert one album directly in the middle of another.

I feel like the horror genre has both implicitly and explicitly made a lot of movies about the pandemic. Some of them almost immediately (like Host), but I still see it come up in other neat ways ("I'm running from a killer and a car stops to help, but driver isn't wearing a mask. Do I get in?")
