I try to avoid taking fever reducers when I’m sick, on account the fever is doing a job, and stopping it from doing that job can just make you sicker for longer. But man am I fucking miserable.

I also try to support my body's "burn it down" method for fighting flu but yeah, a little tylenol probably wouldn't hurt

A great internal medicine doc once told me that once it hits 101.5, there’s no benefit to NOT taking a fever reducer, and that the benefit is really in the first 24 hours.
