I look at these people who are shameless and I think, Damn what a superpower. I wonder what it's like to be that. But as a person with empathy, and guilt, and who thinks about others first, I can't even imagine being that way.

if there's any consolation, not always, but often, it does end up biting a lot of them in the ass sooner or later. the very richest and most powerful, often not, and it blows chunks. the middle rank, though, who kiss up and kick down? Yeah, they often get theirs.
