yes they would absolutely like to hear - this would go into the reprint correction log and they'll take it in at the next printing. You can just drop them a line to their public-facing mailbox and it'll wend its way to the editor in a few days.

Thanks! (I have no idea how book publishers' workflows are set up but I have a sneaking fear of this error being repeated again and again for eternity cos the canonical digital text is wrong or whatever)
