What would be the result if the Tories and Reform merged? Would it be beneficial in term of votes for the (far) right or would it result in what happened to the Tories under Hague and IDS? My worry is that like in France, the RW electorate may have shifted largely to the far right.

Well the Tories have enough seats not to merge, but I guarantee there will be some grubby deal in 2029 to not stand against eachother.
