I worked in an independent games shop for a while in 1990/91 and remember the day we got a grey import PC Engine in, along with (from slightly fuzzy memory) R-Type, Gunhed, Atomic Robo-Kid and Bonk's Adventure. Not a single jaw failed to hit the floor numerous times.

Sorry to hear it mate. The reality is of course that there's a long road ahead, but as someone who's been an NHS worker for ten years now, I can tell you there were more than a few of us feeling a bit emotional on Friday. First time we've glimpsed light in what feels like a geological age.

Affinity, definitely. I finally ditched Adobe last week but I've been mucking about with Affinity for years. Inkscape is Ok as a free, open-source alternative to illustrator, but the last time I tried GIMP I couldn't stand the user interface (in fairness that was years ago, it may have improved).

If I remember correctly, W.A.S.P. are the band featured. A classic of the straight-to-video era. I need to plan a rewatch of some of that stuff. Battletruck, Spacehunter: Adventures in the Forbidden Zone and The Wraith will all be on the list with Ragewar.

Seeing jokes about Taylor Swift, it occurred to me that as far as I'm aware, I don't know any of her output. Genuinely, not a single song. I know there's one about shaking stuff, but I couldn't point it out in a pop lineup. I've no intention of changing that state of affairs either.
