On this 4th of July, I'm grateful not only for the founding of an independent nation, but also that my ancestors chose to immigrate here when they were persecuted for their religion and culture in Europe. The least I can do is to urge America to welcome those in danger in their native countries.

Maybe the argument goes that he was president at the time the reimbursements were paid to Cohen. It's a very flimsy argument that should not hold water.

Happy Father's Day! Here's a video my dad made with me. He wrote a poem about cycling with a concept for a video featuring smooth motion from his helmet cam. I developed the poem into a rock song... It's called "Super Clean Escape Machine."
