*resonates deeply* for me, bad things did happen, but it wasn't any of the things that i was stressed or anxious about. honestly some of them i thought were things that would never happen. like if i did a time travel and tried to warn me from 15 years ago, i would not have believed it.

This is definitely something that I realized in my early 30's as well, but it's still a HUGE work in progress and I'm 40 now. But I'm definitely making improvements, working on focusing on things I can do RIGHT NOW and compartmentalizing things for later consideration when the time to act is nigh.

Oof yeah. Like, I cling to ‘fortune favours the ready’ and have wide arcing plans and scratch away at those on the daily, so even if nothing changes *I’ll * be in a better position than I was the previous day…or at least enough to mollify the negative self talk a bit.
