SCOTUS gave Biden the middle finger and said, "You don't have the balls" when they handed that decision down with six months left in Biden's term. They know exactly what he won't do.
Okay, sure, Biden has the power and the responsibility to ensure the continuation of democracy by dealing with any threat to it using all available means, and history has time and again demonstrated what happens when you don’t, but that’s gonna make voters uncomfortable.
Despite myself I'm holding out hope that Biden's preparing to make a statement and commit to decisive action on the 4th of July to boost his message with the significance of that date. That's probably pure copium but fuck if I know
