Willie Mays hit .271 with 18 HRs and stole 23 bases when he was 40 years old and I pulled a muscle playing golf at 40. Very similar athletes.

I haven't written about it but it appears to be part of an overall national trend. Probably reflects a return to normal after a weirdly appalling summer last year in DC (in terms of carjackings and murder)

By contrast, NOPD has made 224 arrests in the first 17 days of June 2024. The State Police is a tiny drop in the bucket in terms of overall enforcement.
