It's naive and simplistic, I think, to say that The New York Times is for Trump. They favor chaos, for they think they are the solution to chaos when, of course, they are an agent of it. The Times shares Murdoch's worldview not in ideology but in the business model: sensationalism of its own sort.

They do favor chaos, I agree. I think the two most obvious reasons are that it generates revenue, and they don’t really believe that a second DJT administration will do what it threatens to do.

I don't know Jeff, isn't that a really short jump? Trump's whole brand is sensationalism and chaos. I think most of these media outlets know that a Trump loss puts that gravy train in serious jeopardy. He'll still be around, but incredibly diminished.
