ALSO: stop using polls that accept Republican framing! Because when you stop asking WHEN the gov't should be involved in pregnancy and start asking IF they should be, you get very different answers from voters.

The only role the Federal government should have ever had was providing funds to programs/Medicaid for the full and complete spectrum of pregnancy. Everything else has been religion-based. The very argument of conception is steeped in someone's religious beliefs.

I think the national press saw NY-03 as some sort of immigration referendum but the people on the ground who have posted here say abortion ban commercials were being run by the Democrat full-time.
