Maybe it's the Boston driver in me, but I think I could survive driving in Paris. It's not so bad as all that. They follow their own rules, which aren't so different from what I learned growing up.
I have been told quite emphatically and repeatedly that the true Fromsoft mode of driving is India. I cannot speak to this myself but it has come up a lot, unprompted, from friends who grew up there
It was a time coming from New Zealand (ie driving on the opposite side) to pick up a hire car then work out how to leave the city.
The actual drivers seemed fine as far as I could tell
