If you were a newspaper and lots of your reporters had been saying for a while that they had seen Biden have alarming cognitive moments, but you couldn't prove anything, but then something happened that left no doubt, and you wanted to ring the alarm bell, it would look no different.

They have their own interests, but Biden has vocal opponents with some brutal indictments. He's sold us out so hard I *hate* him, entirely rationally. If it's status quo or maybe seeing Trump hang Biden next to Pence, I know which I'd find more emotionally satisfying.
