Winning the primary doesn't entitle you to continue to run even if you become unfit. Becoming unfit means you have a DUTY to pass the torch. He's not our owner now or something.

This is actually a really deftly worded question, because it doesn't ask him to imagine events or what will happen to other people. It asks him how he will FEEL at seeing it unfold. It's a question asking someone to estimate a future level of empathy for others.

He is being accused of hiding very specific impairments: inability to stay alert at night, and difficulty speaking without a script. So all he had to do was schedule nighttime town halls or live interviews and show he can think on his feet. And/or offer to take a cognitive test. He refused both.
