That’s what, 7 or 8 repeats? I did similar about 15 years ago when I was training for Mt. W. My climbing setup was a 22t chainring (only) with a 11-25 cassette. The ride from my house to Big Blue was entertaining on that.

Pros: multi-day battery life when not using GPS (monochrome LCD). Connects to all my bike gadgets. Upload is as easy as with my Garmin Edge bike computer. I have not had significant software issues.

For reference, this is a Fenix 3 from 2016 that I bought for a backpacking trip. Cons: it's bulky. I never did figure out how to turn off the phone alert vibration so it buzzes for everything that appears on the phone, even stuff where I turned off the phone vibe alert. /cont

For comparison, I pay $75/month for 1GB/1GB fiber from an ISP run by my city. This is a Very Good Deal as things go in the USA. There is no universal service requirement for broadband here. Rural internet access is a big issue, many areas have only satellite options.
