I'm taking a beta blocker for my heart condition. One of the side effects is vivid dreams. Sometimes I take melatonin to help me sleep. One of the side effects is vivid dreams. Sometimes I wake up and say WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT. The inside of my head is a strange place.

I would classify this as urban fantasy in a small-town setting. (Semi-rural fantasy?) The protagonist's name is Oscar Wilde. Yes, it's his real name. No, neither relation nor resemblance. It's a fun comic. Talking bears, giant frogs, werewolves, witches, thunderbirds, and maybe the odd sasquatch.

Dad finally lured me into reading Science Fiction by suggesting Lord of Thunder by Andre Norton on the strength that there were animals in it. Started reading Norton stuff with animals, then his whole Norton collection, then started branching out. Yeah, I was hooked.

I'm more of a cat person myself, but I like dogs too. Used to read lots of dog stories when I was a kid. Mostly Albert Payson Terhune. I found one of his books in a box recently and started reading it and HOLY CRAP THIS WRITING IS DENSE. No idea how I got through it as a kid...

Also it would be nice if the app had a way to compare prices and look for more than just the nearest station. I brought up Help and clicked on Tutorial. Obviously these people are not working from the same definition of "tutorial" that I am. This is all just marketing fluff.

Since these days I only fill up at Chevron (my car seems to run better) I figured I should get a card and download the app. Yesterday I tried to use them. The app failed multiple times at two different stations. The card also failed to work as a card. I am not impressed.
