Amazon basically feels like a huge weird ruin full of digital ghosts and monsters now. Like, if you went to the corporate HQ, you feel almost as if there wouldn't be anybody going in or out, and there's nobody even to notice something like this, let alone try to stop it.

I frickin KNEW IT. I have been thinking that there was a bunch of AI generated genre books out there for at least two years. More like four. Since the pandemic, really, is when it ticked up for me.
