the way this usually works in hollywood is that the military brings in all the creatives -- there, actors directors and producers, here narrative, gameplay, and art leads -- shows them a bunch of cool shit, gives them access to a bunch of cool shit, wows them, then says "here's what you CAN'T say"

and the "what you CAN'T say" is never like, "invading iraq is bad," it's "oh we showed you how badass this helicopter is, and we'll let you use some for your movie, but this, this, and this? those can't be in the movie, they're super duper secret." now the creatives are in a special, elevated clique
