SPIDER-MAN wouldn't be valuable IP if you subtracted the work of John Romita from its history. X-MEN isn't a valuable IP without the contributions of Jim Lee as part of its history. And so on and so on... The power of IP and the IMPORTANCE OF THE ARISTS in its history are INTERTWINED.
