For those who can, the strongest way to oppose fascism is: (1) Retain full voting rights in the most competitive elections possible for as long as possible. (2) Remove yourself from contributing to economic growth for which the fascist head of state will get full credit. That can mean moving.

It’s all very “well what did you expect from Texas” subtext “because I had the privilege to leave Texas” energy. The way people treat violent repression as a foregone conclusion instead of something that can be prevented or reversed with social movements ground in community…whew
