They have no real Theory of Change. I’ve spoken to people with long covid who say they won’t vote because they (correctly) asses that Biden has abandoned us. I point out that even so we STILL need Biden to win. In WW2 Jews voted for FDR for the same reasons I vote for Biden bsky.app/profile/levi...

I don't even know if it's that dramatic. A few are legit activists out there doing other things, but I feel like a lot of the don't vote/doomer crowd are just trying to make doing absolutely nothing (except posting) seem somehow virtuous.

This is why I tend to gravitate to left spaces with strong understanding and practices of mutual aid, community building and social justice. There are way too many that are just very dude-ish death cults wrapped up in constructivist graphics :(
