It's not even smooth. I finally saw one in the wild a couple weeks ago. I was behind it at a stop light. The slight curve in the road after the light gave me a shallow viewing angle and the panels have ripples in them. It's kind of hilarious just how bad the quality is on them.

I was at work in a commercial tower in Arlington (just like today,) sigh. And as soon as it was apparent what had just happened every building in DC Metro more than a few stories high was emptied as none of them were designed for earthquakes and it was unclear what damage there might be.
