How many of us, you included, may well end up needing diapers or walkers, and resist because of all the jokes you told about them back in the day. We age. Things stop working. And it can happen well before its time.

I remember - well before I injured my knee - someone commenting (esp. in re: long covid) that "ability for all of us is temporary" and noting that if we live long enough, we will have a time, temporary or permanent, that we are disabled, and we really need to be more accepting

I already can’t get through a bad cold without a ton of pee pads. Diapers are definitely in my future.
