Completely. I’d be more concerned about a medical event happening and the VP having to take over, but that can happen to a young politician as well. JFK for example. Some could argue that assassination results in medical events, but had he survived? He would have been disabled in some way.

One of the last pictures I took of Mom. This is what a stroke and Binswangers syndrome did to her. She dropped 100 lbs in five years because her appetite was destroyed. She had trouble feeding herself, hence the bib. She couldn’t walk, hence the wheelchair and the diapers.

I can’t agree more. Those of us with senior parents/relatives, or who deal with our own disabilities that require walkers, canes, diapers or other care products, do not find your shit funny. My mother was a very proud, active woman and in the end, she was in diapers because of a stroke. Think.

Friendly reminder not to touch, even jokingly someones mobility aid. For many of us, it's our only source of independence. If it breaks or gets damaged, it can take months/years to replace when you have low income or are on social assistance.
