So, if the SCOTUS "Constitutional Originalists" think the President has criminal immunity against everything, why do they think the Constitution of the United States has a process for impeaching a President that includes when he commits crimes.

Strictly speaking, that is now the only time that the President CAN be convicted of a crime. Once he's out, he's immune.

The system is going off the rails and civil war is going to be sooner than later. Not advocating it at all, sadly predicting it. If u have studied Roman history we are still well before Caesar. But the Romans had several civil wars before Caesar.

Immunity from standard prosecution by a regular prosecutor. Not from impeachment by the house & conviction by the senate. The problem I see is founders did not contemplate political parties. The refusal of the Democrats in the senate to have the trial for Mayorkas is a poster child for that.
