Thought experiment: Imagine if Obama, after claiming an election had been stolen from him and being convicted of 34 felonies, was granted immunity by SCOTUS justices who had taken undisclosed luxury trips on George Soros' dime. The fact that you can't even imagine this scenario tells you something.

Who said I’m embarrassed? I’m laughing that you think my profile picture has anything to do with anything other than me liking the picture from a happy day for me.
But if you think wearing a suit makes someone rich, ok.

lol. Posting the photo of me at my wedding in my rented suit to suggest I’m an investment banker is hysterical.
By the way, the napkin was $10 from Amazon.
To your point though, if there’s no moderate middle in the Democratic Party, how come moderate Dems keep getting elected?

Then every Democratic House member I presume elects Jeffries and they certify in favor of Biden?
Ok. Now how does that play out in the streets? Is Biden deploying the military to kill the (without question) armed and violent protestors who start storming dc and various state capitals?

“For some reason” because that’s the example you gave when I asked. If you don’t think I should take what you say seriously, that’s fine. I just thought you had a solution after you so confidently asserted that Biden could rebalance the court and bring a test case right away.

“Imprisoning all the conservative justices for treason” isn’t quite “doing something”. You’d absolutely lose the middle and Dems who consider themselves moderate. Most of them think Trump is the danger. They don’t pay attention to how insane SCOTUS is.

Again, after Biden then loses the election by doing that, and Trump appoints people to fill those seats, then what?

I’ll give you credit. Closing the polling stations is an interesting idea. One thing though: republicans control the house and are the ones who certify the election. They’ll cast out those states electors and use an alternate slate in favor of Trump.
Now what?

So after Biden loses the election for killing 5 Supreme Court justices, and Trump takes office and appoints five more, then what?
Or are you suggesting the military will assist Biden in ignoring the election and staying in office?

I’m just asking for specifics on what you think a new attorney general could accomplish in six months. Biden can sure replace Garland…but then what? What exactly gets done?

I’m just waiting on the how that happens part.

They’re an attorney. Nothing more. They can bring all the charges they like but you need the court system to convict someone or do something. Ultimately you’ll need to convince SCOTUS.
This is fairy tale stuff.

How exactly? Specifics please. Remember you’ve got six months. You’ve also got (at least) two senators who have said they won’t confirm judges unless republicans are on board too.

What do you think they’d do over six months exactly?

Who is folding? I’m just not waiting for the cavalry and I’m just facing reality. I’m also not chilling waiting for Robert Mueller. But keep cheering I guess. Then wonder how it happened in November.

It’ll be stupid, but it’ll be the one. Game’s over man. Trump is gonna win big and the senate and house will rubber stamp whatever he wants. 2016 was the election that mattered. This one is just the icing on that shit cake.

Is there anyone who doesn’t know Trump is a liar? You think undecided voters care about substance at this point? Both candidates are known. The only thing they wanted to see is if Biden could perform. He didn’t. Now the questions become louder and any improvement creates the “drugs?” narrative.

…and the non-online folks that will decide this election saw him last night after months of “Is Biden coherent?” talk all over the news that they watch.
Yesterday was a VERY big problem.

While I agree generally, 2016 was definitely the rubicon. All those decades would have been for naught if Hillary wins. She appoints, at the very least, two justices making it a 5-4 liberal court. Dobbs doesn’t pass. Trump fades away. Covid is handled better and she probably wins reelection.

Just saw this for the first time a couple of years ago and feel the same way. I do love the arrogance of his excitement of impregnating all the women meeting a horribly perfect situation though. Didn’t see that coming.

Today I learned that for Furiosa, George Miller cast a bunch of local Australian kids who had been victims of bullying or abuse because he was impressed by their stories and thought they'd have a good time being War Boys. THAT'S NEAT. www.tumblr.com/cerebrobulle...

It makes me crazy when I hear people say there’s nothing original being made and they never saw Lamb or The Lodge or Sisu or pretty much anything from Neon or A24 in the last decade.

Probably.. but it’s going to be hard to find someone who has standing on this to ban it considering that would mean they were harmed by willingly taking it.

I think he’s saying he’d prefer to be electrocuted over being eaten by a shark…but he wants to end the risk of people being electrocuted by batteries getting submerged in water? I guess he thinks the radios and electronic equipment in baits run on coal? Maybe? So shark attacks for everyone?

I love how navigation apps are like “take this route instead to save 20 minutes” and then you just end up driving for the same amount of time but with more stop lights.

It’s ridiculous. We pay about $500/month for elecare because our baby has a cows milk allergy. Cigna won’t cover it even though our doctor wrote a prescription and elecare contracted them directly. Asinine.

Happy Pride Month. Remember: Stonewall wasn't a petition, wasn't a letter of concern, wasn't a dismayed tweet. Stonewall was a RIOT against police harassment and brutality led by street queens of color and angry dykes. We are NEVER going back to hiding who we are.

Hey nerd, I don’t give a shit. I’m talking about people who are complaining about professional players not speaking English and saying they want to watch a sport with more white people in it instead.

Literally saw some dude complain that nearly 300 mlb players speak little or no English and he figured he’d watch Dallas play Edmonton (NHL) instead on a post about this. Could he be any more transparent?
