Even then I only really care about THAT when they're actively using the money for evil. Like eating at Chik fil A. Absolutely inexcusable, specifically because they donate to homophobic causes. Reading JKR; gods, I blame her direct actions for a LOT. Least favorite ink is politically involved.

This is also an issue about boycotts in support of Palestinians. No, it's not because they're Jewish or even Israeli*, it's because they materially support things that directly harm Palestinians. *This can get squishy (I've even done it), but I've only seen it done by people or orgs acting alone.

I keep trying to read Lovecraft because "nono, you have to read the GOOD ones..." and they're still all racist as hell! I suspect they're good in many ways in ways I can't appreciate because I'm still reeling from whatever nonsense he came up with this time.
