I predicted one of the first industries to do this would be healthcare, because when you are chronically ill, neurodivergent, disabled, and deaf, you see the ugly underbelly more than most.

You’re absolutely right! And it’s been moving this way for years. The problem isn’t even really the “healthcare” part of the industry, but the fact that we’ve (and healthcare workers are to blame for this part) allowed corporations to take over the practice of medicine.
