Brexit - 37% of eligible voters voting leave was not the ‘will of the people’. GE 2024 - 20% of eligible voters voting Labour is not an overwhelming popular mandate. Labour gov was the best feasible outcome - we will be better for it. But ignoring the reality of public opinion is foolish hubris.
