He had a thorough check by the internist who was going to do the feeding tube, with mucho blood work. Only issue was low B12, & he gets a shot & weigh-in every week (we go tomorrow). I thought it had been ~3 months, but I checked & it's only 7 weeks since Reilly died. Just very hard 7 weeks.

Oh good. A lot of people get blindsided by hepatic lipidosis. An indoor cat will get out, get scared, & hide for a couple days, until he gets so hungry that he simply has to come out. They'll be so happy to see him, then he suddenly gets sick.
