my biggest problem with AI right now is that Facebook is overrun with this shit. I do have friends and family I try to keep up with on that site, but I keep getting this:

so no joke the only way i can use facebook at this point is i just keep a tab open to my own page and see if people tagged me or the notifications pop up. trying to look at the home page is like getting blasted in the face with pepper spray and all i wanna do is see wtf is going on locally!

Facebook only cares if something is engaged with, not how it is engaged. I am also pretty sure they penalize you for blocking bots because the bots were an engagement metric.

Tough call on what my favorite part of the second image was. The father/child fusion is a strong candidate, as is the tank barrel coming out of the side of a car. Ultimately though, the completely botched American flag wins because it so thoroughly undermines the patriotic intention of the image.

I think the most interesting thing is that the Facebook AI seems to look so bad. There’s all this talk about the image generation getting better and looking more realistic and FB is over here producing slop and cringe and horrors.
