For the last month, this guy has avoided me like the plague. I thought it would be hard to friend him, and I certainly did not think I could pick him up after catching him. After a few days of handling, I think he trusts me now. just one more to deal with.

I dog-sit occasionally, and sometimes, I get a puppy. For the next 5 days, I am responsible for a 7-month-old Brussels Griffin puppy. I am not responsible enough to have a dog, let alone a puppy, hence why I am an uncle of dogs.

Facebook only cares if something is engaged with, not how it is engaged. I am also pretty sure they penalize you for blocking bots because the bots were an engagement metric.

After trying to catch three kittens in my backyard, I will be functioning off an hour of sleep today. Unfortunately, I only caught 2 that were warming up to me. I also need to catch the mom, who could become a house cat. It's going to be 111 Fahrenheit today.

This is my breakfast today: fresh dragon fruit (Selenicereus costaricensis) from the garden. I have had this plant for 16 years, but it was not until 2022 that I got any fruit, one tiny fruit. This year, it gave me seven bigger fruits and counting.

I need just two issues to go to complete the series. It was hard to find a copy with the cover on the right, so I have two copies. Because the one in the CGC case is perfect, I bought the other copy as a reader.

134 is the first appearance of the High Evolutionary. I made a mistake on 140, as I had already purchased it when I was barely awake. Maybe I can trade it off later.

Out of my 11 citrus trees, 4 are in bloom. Buddha's Hand (top left), Washington & California Orange (I forget which is which), and a tangerine that produces more seed than fruit (bottom right).

One of the most fragrant flowers in my garden.

Amazing Spider-Man 252 - January 31, 1984 - 40 years ago today.

The first appearance of the black costume in the comics, not including Marvel Age 12 (December 6, 1983). Story wise it was Secret Wars 8 (August 28, 1984).

To avoid overwhelming my timeline with numerous blog posts I can't stop making about Copytrack/WENN Rights International Ltd weaponizing illegitimate copyright complaints, I've created a single post that links to all of them. They just had to file two claims on the same image, not theirs.

At the start of this month, a false copyright claim led me to look into Wenn Rights Intl Ltd/Copytrack. Wenn may have started weaponizing the Digital Millennium Copyright Act all the way back in 2009. This is only a small part of what I found.
