Today I signed the kid up for preschool starting in September. She wants to be around other kids sooooo badly all the time. Not that we would ever homeschool, but I think she would revolt if we tried.

With a few gaps, I've been an election judge since the late 90s. I've been a head judge for about six years. I'm thinking of giving it all up. Tomorrow I have an early dentist appointment, a full day of work onboarding a new employee, then three hours of election judge training and I just can't.

You can get a permit to reserve the parking for a dumpster, but that would take a lot of mental bandwidth. Maybe the junk removal folks make the most sense. For me, having someone in my home would be a lot of stress too.

If there is parking in front of your house, then renting a dumpster is allowed. Prices are going to be $300-$500+ for a week, depending on company and size of dumpster. Bagster might be a better solution for you. It would give you more flexibility and be cheaper. www.thebagster.com

I was resigned to a wet weekend, so today being beautiful was extra lovely. Bike ride, farmers market, more than four hours at Wabun, sandwiches from the Sea Salt place (does it have a name?) and dinner outside at home. Excellent summer day in the city.

Because the only local voters lived in the Vets home. They aren’t really allowed to travel about and meet people. And staff couldn’t vouch because they aren’t registered there.

There used to be a polling place at the Mpls Vets Home. The boundary included all of Minnehaha Park and the Home. A guy who lived in the park tried to vote, but no one could vouch for him given the nature of the Home. That was the last time it was a stand alone polling place because of that one guy.

I can't imagine. Are there entire meetings where no one is wearing a blue button up? How do you know when its Friday if not by the men changing to wearing polos? Do people allow time between meetings to actually use the bathroom where you work? If there are in person meetings, is it actually warm?

Yesterday I got a half day breath before being clobbered today by everything I had been ignoring due to eBike Rebate relaunch. Trying to catch up with staff I ignored for three weeks and one LOST THEIR LAPTOP weeks ago and didn't mention it because I had a lot going on. OMG.
