Here’s a piece of cat history that I think about often: When path-breaking English anthropologist Beatrice Blackwood was conducting fieldwork in New Guinea in the 1930s, she carried her cat Sally with her the whole time. Sally was the first cat the indigenous people ever saw. What a damn cat!

Was rudely awoken at 6am by a cat peeing on my pillow, while I was sleeping on it. I love Webinar very much but he’s so dumb. He loves being in the bed with us but he’s too scared of the other cats to just leave when he wants to. He’s the least brave cat in the world.
