Up now, Paul Simon ~ Hearts & Bones ~ 1983,  Winchester Press! Fav of favs, masterpiece of masterpieces; yet it wasn't acclaimed, I take it, however, it spoke to me like no other ever has. I sing, dance, cry along w/ it, sit back in amazement of its overwhelming quality. Paul must be my brother! 😃

Magnificent album overall, ‘Imaginos’ (1988). BOC moving into prog/concept territory with aplomb. The final tracks on this album are superb, like nothing else around full.stop. This sounds 80s, but again hi-res opens it up quite a bit. Eric’s vocals never better, Buck’s riffs tight 😎✅

I gave up early on and then put it on at 10pm for the extra time. Roberto Martinez has done ok for himself. Always ends up with decent management jobs. I remember him as a jobbing midfielder at Livingston

Have to say, this one sounded great in Hi-Res (24/96) from Qobuz. The detail is there, it seems to balance out the very 80s style production for me. Very crisp in the higher ranges and good depth. As an album I love this, not that many do, but it has quintessential BOC moments throughout 😎👌

#CDFriday: Crowded House - Gravity Stairs. Just released at the end of May, this album is another great addition to the CH discography. Songs like The Howl, Some Greater Plan, All That I Can Ever Own, etc are simply pure Crowded House gems. Definitely one of my favorite albums this year thus far.
