I'm the only person in the world who reacted to too much too soon by....falling asleep. We had to set up a rationing system where a pal was in charge of me doses to avoid me getting carried away and crashing.

Twice I've been able to deny knowledge of it during a work call, and I can tell the nobhead was thinking 'well of COURSE this organisation will employ people who don't recognise the term 'Kafkaesque',' little knowing that I am playing with THEM, therefore BEING KAFKAESQUE HAHAHAHAHA. And so forth.

I dunno, the concept means it takes a fair bit of thought, (ie the different moves for changing directon/orientation) and its the lack of time that makes it fun. It'll reward practice, I think.

100% with you. Me cousin is the baker in the family (she's ridiculously good) so when I wanted to start I asked her what's easiest, and it seemed to good to be true that the best cake is the hardest to mess up. Nice one, the people of Madeira.

I've got pretty good at madeira cake out of an old Be-Ro book, with pistachio flavour in. Soften the butter and syrup in a bowl inside a bigger bowl of hot water; the more melted the butter the better the cake, I've found.

The only reason it's going to be a landslide is because a whole lot of people now feel comfortable voting for bigotry because it's wearing red, and a whole lot of people who don't care about being seen as bigots won't vote for a party with a non-white leader. It's just a game.
