You absolutely want those stories running in the NYT and WashPo and on CNN. All three have brand name credibility with Democratic voters who don't realize that they've been suborned by the interests of their billionaire owners/publishers. So they have to be "more in concern than in anger" pieces

I would prefer to give it to juries, actually. (And not to judges. I think SCOTUS just proved how unreliable that would be.) But the fact is, if lies and truth are treated with the same respect, lies will always win. QED.

The Ministry of Truth is what Trump already brings to the table- that is, making it IMPOSSIBLE to tell truth from lies, and thus impossible to sustain or defend a democracy. That's where protecting lies gets us.
