Which is why the NYT is all in on this strategy.
I wish every MSNBC segment started with "For the XXXth day in a row, the Trump campaign has been too frightened to sit down for an interview, so these are things that they don't want you to know about their pet rapist."

My take:
Don't fuck your staff as an employer.
Don't fuck your fans as a celebrity.
Don't assume breaking either of those rules will remain secret.
Scandals move news and podcasts.

Without a cited source or three, I am assuming it's "Oh hey, our TERF-y podcast went viral!"
I do not know enough to judge the allegation from what's presented. I don't think anyone but Gaiman, the women involved, and any attorneys in three different countries knows enough.
And they're all quiet.

You absolutely want those stories running in the NYT and WashPo and on CNN. All three have brand name credibility with Democratic voters who don't realize that they've been suborned by the interests of their billionaire owners/publishers.
So they have to be "more in concern than in anger" pieces

Somehow, a Photogenic White Person (Gretchen Whitmer or Gavin "pretty hair" Newsom) manages to survive a brokered convention, and lawsuits, and is into the general?
What does Roger Stone do from there?
When you're unconstrained by the truth, all you care about is getting negatives repeated.

Roleplay being Roger Stone: how do you change Trump's messaging to take advantage of the following:
Biden drops and the DNC is a brokered convention?
Kamala Harris is the candidate?
Kamala Harris isn't the candidate and lawsuits against the DNC happen because voters choices were ignored?
