It’s not. The SAG-AFTRA Union is currently striking because of unfair contracts from major Hollywood corporations. Minority members aren’t being forced to refuse credit for their work, they are choosing to stand in solidarity with all their peers. It’s inconvenient, but ultimately good.

It's all of them (IIRC Tom Cruise made a big stink about it because they wouldn't give him an exemption). Promotion is considered crossing the picket line.

They're not. All actors are striking, which also includes promoting any films during the strike. All actors are credited for their work, all actors are paid for their work.
